Steve N. Doty, previously of Clarkston, handed away peacefully within the Hospice Care Middle at Windfall Hospital in Everett, Wash. Steve fought a 12-month battle with liver and pancreatic most cancers. On Monday, Feb. 17, 2020, Steve took his final breath as he grasped the hand of Jesus and went residence to his Heavenly Father.
Steve was born Nov. four, 1949, to proud mother and father Norman PeeWee White and Leona Doty. Steve grew up within the Clarkston Faculty District and graduated from Clarkston Excessive Faculty in 1968. Steve spent greater than 45 years within the subject of dentistry. Steve spent the primary few years of his career in dental labs, beginning below the steerage of Mel Witters. Steve moved on from dental labs and moved into salesmanship.
Over the following 40 years, Steve traveled many miles within the Seattle, Mukilteo, Edmunds and Everett space, constructing relationships with dentists, resulting in a really profitable profession. Steve completely liked being a salesman and taking good care of his shoppers. This was evident by the truth that Steve labored as much as inside a number of weeks of his passing.
Steve liked his pursuits away from work. Steve went all out, whether or not it was touring the West Coast exhibiting his bearded collies (Harley, Gracie, Fergie and Sophie), going to NASCAR races across the nation, constructing sizzling rods and touring to exhibits alongside the West Coast together with his sizzling rod buddies, or a street journey cruising in a 1937 Ford sizzling rod to Mount Rushmore together with his spouse of 42 years, Debbie.
Steve was preceded in demise by his father, Norman PeeWee White; and his stepfather, Jack Doty.
Steve is survived by his spouse, Debbie; mom Leona; brother Glenn (Joan); nieces Sarah and Jessie; great-nephew Wyatt; great-nieces Aspyn and Tobyn; and sister Sally.
Huge due to the Hospice Care Middle employees at Windfall Hospital for his or her respect, care and compassion towards my brother Steve in his closing days. There’s a particular place in Heaven for the docs, nurses, CNAs, secretaries and chaplin who so lovingly took care of Steve whereas he was below their care. Thanks Dr. Anderson, Mo, Annette, Bonnie, Cynthia, Bobbie, Kebba, Fasika, Julia, Alan, Melissa, Chris, Connie, Carol, Mam, Pat, Jessica, Bruce, Jo, Kathy, Debbie, George, Inness and Sandra.
Oh, and there’s a younger man driving a Dodge Viper someplace in Seattle nonetheless questioning why, when he challenged a 34 Chevy to a race, all he ever noticed had been the tail lights of the 34.
